Bernanke and the Pringles Problem
pardon??
Have you spent much time in L.A.? I have! Thirty-nine years. I can tell you that you would NEVER, despite your pretense of being non-"phobic," willingly live for long in a neighborhood here that is predominantly Mexican-American or Mexican immigrant. You simply do not know the world you are talking about. Take a look at the LAPD's most wanted page. Come stay here for a few weeks - not just the west side or the Valley or the beaches. Try South Central, South LA, East LA, Lynwood, Inglewood, Huntington Park, Hawaiian Gardens, Colton, South Gate, Hawthorne, Compton, Maywood, Paramount, Long Beach, Cudahy, Lennox, Vernon, Santa Ana, Fontana, Bell, Bell Gardens, Artesia, Huntington Park, Paramount, Rialto, South El Monte or La Puente. Visit the schools. Think about how you’d like to put your own kid into one of those schools. Get to know the people you are talking about. I think you’ll find you were in a bubble.
One does not have to live in something to support something. I support gay marriage, do I have to go live in a gay community (whatever that is)? I support gun rights does that mean I have to join a militia?
Here's the most wanted list I mentioned:
