I doubt many women will actually follow through with this; most male Democrats can't compete with Republicans in the masculinity department. It's the individual that matters, but I save time by generalizing based on a woman's political affiliation. Democrat girls tend to be pump and dump material, but all of my serious girlfriends have been Republicans. Republicans tend to better looking and make better partners. I am a libertarian.

Pretty funny, nobody. Especially if you knew me.

The politicization of the whole situation is such that last summer a liberal called me an "anti-feminist libertarian dinosaur," while in another conversation a proud Sarah Palin supporter called me "worse than Gloria Steinem."

Meanwhile, on one of Kerry Howley's bh.tv threads, a commenter patiently explained to me that I wasn't actually a twist at all. Yesterday I was credited with inventing "Hansonian feminism."

Now today I'm a misogynist. Thank goodness these brickbats won't really mess up my hair and I can keep dancing backwards in my 5-inch heels.

This analysis is a bit odd to me. Mr. Wilkinson sees identity politics as the driving movtivation for this campaign. I agree that there's a flavor of identity politics to the whole thing, but it seems to me that this campaign is better understood as a boycott, and is being put forward for the same reasons that boycotts usually are.

I think the real idea is that one should sleep with those who respect one's rights as a sexual being. The conservative political movement is very into to controlling & restricting women's sexuality. The idea is that women should, therefore, withhold their sexuality from conservatives.
