My point was that there is no IR Theory. There is just better or worse psychology about the particular guys in charge of particular governments and armies. Possible choices, Econ, Poli Sci, Sociology, Public Policy. As you can tell my interests are very varied, what would be your advice. Naturally, I have a libertarian bias in my thinking so please factor that into your advice.
